In 1729, the Carroll family offered a tract of land now known as the Inner Harbor. They named the 3-‐street town Baltimore Town in honor of Cecil Calvert 2nd Baron of Baltimore, founder of the Maryland Colony, marking the start of what would become one of the nation's largest cities for two centuries.

The Baltimore Harbor is always the place to visit when visiting Baltimore! Even though I thought the harbor looped a much shorter distance then it actually did, the walk was still enjoyable. Plenty of shops and places to grab something to eat!
